Happy Land

The minute I bought the annual pass, I have promised myself that I will make ourselves a regular. I'll make sure that we would spend our Saturdays together. So, this has become our routine.....2 weeks in a row now. We have been visiting the happy land.....Legoland. I'm happy to see Alia's face lights up everytime we're here. She even mumbled " I wish ayah is here..". Oooh...not long now. Nanti ayah nak datang dah. Probably June, got to wait for my viva date dulu. Baru boleh beli tiket. My big plan is to have everything ready by the end of May. So boleh viva dalam bulan June tu. InsyaAllah. Tapi menulis pun tak abis lagi.......mana idea tak kunjung tiba ni??? *sigh*

Leave that apart. Let's talk about our outing. 1st week- Aku pening nak muntah naik kapal raksasa. All this while, I thought I was tough! But I was definitely wrong. Si Alia memang menangis je kejanya masa kat atas tu. Bila turun, kepala aku dah berpusing-pusing. Buat malu je. Cuaca pulak hari tu tiba2 sejuk pulak.

2nd week, we were there again because Legoland was celebrating their 15th bday. Aku tobat la tak mau naik kapal raksasa tu lagi. Alia siap pesan kat aku "Let's not get on that giant ship, mama!" Aku kalau upah pun tak mau naik!! Petangnya Sofia's and femli ajak main sama-sama lagi. Kebetulan cuaca sungguh cantik pulak minggu kedua tu. All was well, then.

Alia took part in 'build a bday cake for Legoland' competition. I'm sure we stand no chance of winning sebab orang lain semua terer2. But we had a splendid time, anyway.

Alia was ecstatic to meet her hero........Abang BOB!!!! We enjoyed watching Bob the Buider 3D movie at the Imagination Centre. What with the artificial snow (made of bubbles) and small splashed of water, kiddies was shrieking excitedly, then just as we stepped out of the theatre, there he was......abang Bob...right before your very eyes. Suka la anakku tu. Terus mintak nak bergambar.

Alia and Sofia, makan ice-cream sejuk-sejuk tu. 1st week.....kopak duitku sebab beli aiskrim, cold drinks dan maca-macam lagi. 2nd week tu, aku angkut nasi goreng, burger, coke, ribena, biskut, roti...segala mak nenek la supaya tak payah beli kat sana. Mahal giler makanan kat situ (biasa la...!), aku rasa tiga kali ganda dari makanan kat luar.

So....a little tips for parents yang nak bwk anakonda pegi Legoland....a trip to Tesco is a must sebelum pegi Legoland. Pegi beli aiskrim, drinks, snacks segala and masuk dalam insulated container. Orang puteh pun berduyun-duyun yang berpiknik kat situ. Even Catherine (Sofia's mom) cakap kat anaknya makanan kat sini mahal. Kita makan kat rumah je. Hahahha...orang kaya cam dia pun kata mahal, marhaen macam aku ni lagi la....

The giant Sphinx?


Ni persembahan khas...pasal pirates. Awesome stunts, very entertaining and very brave. Pastu ada jugak adegan ala2 Mr Bean yang lucu buat semua orang ketawa. We love this! Sadly a few days after that, I got to know from Daily Mail yang one of their crew was in a critical unit. Terhempas kepala masa rehearsal. I just can't imagine the horror, even thinking about it make me shudder. Harap2 dia pulih. Kesian sangat.


Alia bengang je sebab budak kat depan tu lambat.....

Nak dapatkan driving licence, kena menari dulu. Hahhahaha...kena dera budak2 ni.

We love it!!! Budak2 ni dengan entertainer yang bercerita pasal Three Little Piggies. Lucu!!

Legoland is huge! Ada macam-macam attractions. Kalau nak datang sini sehari je, baik tak payah la sebab tak berbaloi. Masa tak cukup. Dah la tiket mahal. So alang-alang dah beli tiket mahal tu, baik spend lama-lama kat dalam ni. Pegi pagi, sekejap je dah petang sebab there are so much to see and to try. Early summer nanti ada underwater punya ride.

I was so lucky I managed to grab a great deal masa beli tiket tu. 50% off for annual Premium pass. Unlimited entry, all year round. Harga 1-day ticket for adult dalam £41++. Aku dapat £49 for a pass, not basic pass, premium!! So parkings are free, dapat free entry to special events (fireworks, CBeeBies festival this July, etc). Lucky lucky me. Tu pun fikir sejuta kali sebelum beli. Mahal lorrr...lepas beli kena ikat perut, hahaha. Takpe la, janji anak happy.

Btw, pada yang shopping kat Tesco, aku recommend beli tiket pakai Tesco Reward. Dapat triple value. So tak payah bayar normal price. Rasanya for £15 voucher, dapat 1-day ticket. Pastu kalau tak silap aku, 1-day tiket tu boleh pakai utk 2nd day, kalau kita validate tiket tu sebelum balik. Dulu aku merungut...mahal betul la tiket ni. Giler ke hapa dorang ni? Now I know why...it's worth every penny.
