CAMELIA: My all time-favourite

I was browsing the web to learn about making a video montage for Mobility Farewell Lunch this Friday when I bumped into a page on Camelia! Rindunyaaaaaa. I adore everything about her. Her voice, her grace, her fashion, her life, semua-semua la boleh katanya. To listen to her songs again just brought me back to the yesteryears. It has been over 20 years. Wow.

During my first year in uni back in 1997, I used to listen to her song "Rindu Padanya" just before I retire to sleep after a gruelling day.  That was during the first few weeks in uni. Teringat Permata. Tan, if you are reading this post, you know what I meant :)

My uni years was among the best time in my life. I was blessed to be surrounded by my dear friends;  Intan, K Lin, si Rozz , Dar, Anne and many more. I cannot thanked you enough, my friends. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for all the laughter and tears. Thank you for growing up with me. Thank you for making me who I am today.

Btw, Camelia is happily married. Ada anak comel to compliment her good life. I am happy for her. She deserves a good ending after everything she had gone through. Gosh, teringat those time in The Mines Seri Kembangan when Camelia had her mini concert/album launching ke apa, surrounded by her family who flew all the way from Kuching. We were lucky enough to be given Press Pass by the reporter who manned the registration counter. He asked us to pretend that we are junior press. We got an access to backstage area and the front row seat. Nasib la zaman tu takde smart phone. No pics but that good memory remains.

She is still the elegant and the graceful Camelia. Simply one of the best. Sukaaaaaa!
